A.   What else about the taishokoto inventor?

Goro Morita was born and raised in Ohsu Town in Nagoya City.  We believe he must have lived in Moritaya Inn with his parents, as we have knowledge that one of our members grand mother worked at Morita-ya inn in her young days and she looked after baby-Goro and had carried him on her back.   If he was raised in Ohsu, most of the patrons of Moritaya Inn were performers who entertained at the Ohsu-kannon temple or hall of entertainment visitors may have influenced Goro Morita’s musical appreciation and talents.

When he became a performer, he took the name of "Onkai Kawaguchi ".  The meaning of his name is descriptive of his  life.  He leaves his home and explores music abroad.   The name means "going out from the mouth of the river (Kawaguchi in Japanese) to the sea of music (Onkai in Japanese).
